About AgriTech Day

AgriTech day will run on Thursday 27th of October. The event will be a hybrid event where attendees can join us in person or online.

Ludgate’s annual Agri event aims to identify the opportunities and innovations within the Agriculture industry, looking at current challenges and focusing on the positive future of Agriculture in Ireland. We will bring together top rated Panellists and Speakers to discuss the significant challenges and opportunities at farm level whilst emphasizing how businesses can ensure farmers are environmentally and economically sustainable. The benefits of adopting Innovative Agri tech in order to adapt and adopt sustainable business strategies are forever prevalent and highly topical attracting a national and international audience.

As part of this panel discussion we will hear from Thomas Curran of Teagasc on the important factors to consider as a Farmer to build a successful land succession plan from planning early, who to communicate with and the professionals available to guide you in the right direction.

Fellow panellists Neil, Declan and Amy will speak of their own paths to farming. Father son duo Neil and Declan Collins will speak about future generations farming the land. Amy Dunphy who has chosen Farming as a career despite not being from an Agricultural background will identify what we can do to ensure more young people see farming the land as a viable career opportunity.
